Superhero Brighton Accountant --- pleased to assist

Welcome to my World : http://youtu.be/uEktDpa9wSE

Based in Brighton & Hove, I shall be pleased to assist you in accountancy services, tax advice & financial guidance to encourage & support your business hopes. Individuals & newly commenced ventures or established businesses considering a new focus on finances -- I welcome you to contact me on 07952 297971 or Twitter : http://twitter.com/#!/AccyKeef
For pro-active & non-stuffy help to work alongside you, I shall be pleased to have a no-pressure initial chat.

This is my personal blog --- the formal website for my office-desk at Superhero HQ would show a well-established Chartered Accountants Firm who are also Registered Auditors and can offer wide-list of expertise in Accounts, Tax, Book-Keeping & Payroll services etc.

I enjoy socialising of course + attending concerts & theatre etc [check my twitterings] . My `artistic-bent' started at school/college ; enjoying many evenings blowing trombone (er, thats not a euphemism) through to the Brighton Youth Orchestra etc. In superhero-stylie I work & play hard ---- staying out far-too-late & getting into mischief, when work-commitments allow.

I would be thrilled to connect with arts/creative businesses --- also fashion, retail ventures etc ---- though not exclusively. I'd be pleased to meet for an initial chat, if you wish to message me through twitter or my mobile.

I have expertise in assisting Charities & Not-for-profit organisations ---- plus for many years I've linked-in as a trustee of a local sports & community-meeting venue.

Thanks for reading this ---- sending best regards

Assisting Tutors & Coaches with disclosure of earnings to HMRC under Tax Catch Up Plan

The Tax Office had launched a `Tax Catch Up Plan' for Tutors & Coaches to disclose past years' undisclosed & untaxed Income & Gains. Tutors & Coaches may work in education, sport & leisure or music. The Tax Office website details are here : http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/ris/tcup/introduction.htm
The incentive to make a disclosure is the offered reduction in penalties by the Tax Office.

In essence, this is a voluntary disclosure opportunity; followed by Tax Office proposed enquiries towards those who have chosen not to disclose past untaxed earnings. The HMRC compliance strategy teams have collected information from the internet on those offering tutoring & coaching & music lessons etc. Also, my tutor-friends tell me that the Tax Office has written to schools/colleges requesting details of tutors, coaches, music-instructors/performers.

I have been assisting clients with this disclosure process ---- though the scheme is ending on 31st March..
If business-friends wish to contact me on finalising the disclosure process, I would help of course.

Sending best regards, Kx -- Superhero Accountant

Overdue Tax Returns : Ziggy played guitar --- but only because he'd forgotten his bugle

Ziggy played guitar : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc8DF2eSCSY
but only because he'd forgotten his bugle :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG58av3-ZOk
The bugle had been put safely in a cupboard somewhere -- along with info for that overdue Tax Return ?!

Some 2011 Tax Returns are still arriving on my office-desk ---- clients have been too work-focused to get their financial-info assembled up to January ----- plus the £100 31st Jan deadline penalty is not a significant reprimand for high-earning tax-payers.
Penalties become more painful from end of February onwards --- with penalty amounts based on %age of outstanding tax due http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/sa/deadlines-penalties.htm

I would be pleased to offer assistance to business-friends on finalising their personal Tax Returns --- or looking at any Tax Office enquiries arising from info submitted to meet the January deadline.

Best regards, AccyKeef

Workload at Superhero Accountants HQ is very time-pressured --- we are now only assisting existing business-friends on their personal Tax Returns. Any Twitterland friends wishing for a bit of  guidance ---- I will of course try to assist if you get in touch (including weekend-working at office-desk) --- message me on 07952 297971

D-I-Y Tax : I don't need an Accountant ??

I hear people remark that "I don't need an Accountant for my Tax Return, I'll just do-it-myself ..." ??
Well ---- completing a Tax Return is a very delicate & precise exercise -- rather similar to carrying out a vasectomy operation --- sure, it could be kinda fun to have a go at doing-it-yourself -- but its probably best left to the experts ??!!

Accountancy & Tax services -- its like having a bidet in your bathroom ---- not essential, but it adds a touch of class ?!

So --- you'll contact me + we'll get the Tax sorted ??

Best regards, Kx

that girl 's a nutter ?!

I saw film `the girl who played with fire' : http://www.cineworld.co.uk/cinemas/3?film=3606
Intense storyline -- uncomfortable viewing at times, like the previous `dragon tattoo girl' film.
Gosh -- could quite put me off my popcorn/hot-dog etc ...

Also catching-up with viewing the docu-drama `u be dead' from last sunday on ITV :
http://www.itv.com/ITVPlayer/  --- an intriguing tale.
One of the main actors is a client at office-deskland.

I shall be pleased to assist in checking-things-out if you hear of anyone receiving those unexpected tax assessments from payroll adjustments that we see in the news :
