To shoe-horn a bit of worthwhile desk-bound accountancy into this life spent frivolously --- I received a request for financial info on mortgage-application to assist a client by post thursday afternoon -- I responded by lunchtime on friday, taking the time to supply additional confirmations that the client's income is sustainable (he's a self-employed performer in successful international stage-show, so his performance-earnings can be predicted into coming year). Usual non-superhero accountants would of course keep the info request at least until after the weekend ? then respond begrudgingly as you can't charge a fee for this info ?
